Old photographs of Davies and Metcalfe products created with a CAD package called Euclid back in the early/mid 1990's.
Some of the bigger asssemblies are line drawings, I'm guessing just because the computers of the time would have taken too long to render them,
and they were mega dedicated DEC CAD workstations.
I still keep my hand in with Solid Works and Indistrial Disc brakes for a local company, but not much has changed really, except the availability of cost effective colour printing and faster graphics - hence the photographs.
These were way ahead of thier time though - somthing like this was probably the very forefront of the leading edge in CAE at the time -
and we even went further by creating the 'Digital Design to Manufacture' process - no paper - in the 1990's!
